When we meet

Each Monday & Friday morning at 10am at Haslingden market: Rossendale Council has given us a ‘lock up’ on the market where we store tools and equipment. We normally work for 2 hours but any time you can give is most welcome. We may go litter picking around Haslingden town centre, or work on one of our local garden projects.

Each Sunday morning at 10am: This is to litter pick and the location varies, depending on which area needs priority.

Wednesday tea time: During the summer months, some volunteers meet for a litter pick. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

Lone Rangers: We realise that some people wish to litter pick at a time to suit themselves, perhaps owing to work or family commitments. For this we provide you with a hi-viz jacket, bearing the name of our group – together with a pair of litter pickers; and of course some refuse sacks! Other members of our group may meet in Helmshore on an ad hoc basis to plant up flower tubs or litter pick.

Please feel free to either come along at one of the appointed days/time or get in touch via our ‘Contact’ page for further information. We’ll be delighted to hear from you.
